Instagram and New Masks

'Tis the season of masks of the horror variety, & as such, I've added to my collection. I intend to feature them during October, though lately my work schedule has been particularly demanding. I'll manage what I can.

Recently I've been in the process of familiarizing myself with Instagram, though I am a little out of my element. Regardless, I'll attempt to get a foothold. There, I plan on sharing photos, & videos. There's a video of me dancing, if you'd believe that.

After some prolonged hesitation, I've finally created a Facebook page. For now I've a handful of followers & even fewer likes (such is the case with new beginnings). If I fail to get a foothold, I'll delete it altogether. I might submit more frequently there, at least at this early stage, to improve upon quantity. The Spectator Daily Deviation

Following the drudgeries of the early week, I was pleasantly surprised when I accessed this account & noticed a Daily Deviation I received for "The Spectator". It's my fifth for this gallery (though my seventh with the inclusion of my alternative gallery). My sincerest thanks to MarieRaine for suggesting my photo, & also to pullingcandy for featuring it. I'm glad to know that I can still acquire such an accolade.

Concerning art, I have added a clown mask to my collection. When inspiration dictates, I'll showcase it. As it stands, I have an idea or two ahead. I can be terribly indecisive when it comes to my photography.

Ancestry DNA

In other news, I acquired a small hunting rifle with which I shoot various, inanimate targets. It’s surprisingly therapeutic. Cans & eggs (despite the mess) are my favorite targets. After shooting through a container of spray paint, it spun frenetically – leaving an ephemeral blue mist in the air. I’ve read a little about controlled breathing in order to improve my accuracy. Unfortunately, my work schedule & rainfall have prevented me from practicing as often as I’d like.

A nostalgic favorite from my childhood is being remade. Hopefully, the movie “IT” won’t be overly infused with jump scares & substandard writing. Regardless, it’s one I’ll venture to the theater to see.

Recently I took a DNA test. By providing a saliva sample – along with 100 dollars – Ancestry DNA will sequence my genes in order to trace my geographic origins. Following a wait of 6 to 8 weeks, I ought to receive ethnicity estimates. I’m undoubtedly a mongrel, so I’m curious to see my percentage estimates.
